Kanye West Says Wife Kim Kardashian Is 'As Cool As a Fighter Jet or Dinosaur'

Kanye West
Kanye West opened up about his lady love in GQ magazine's August issue

And according to the rapper, his wife, which he wed in a grand May ceremony in Italy, is just as rare and amazing as a "f--cking fighter jet or dinosaur."
"Kim is this girl who f--king turns me on," West told GQ of his reality star wife. "I love her. This is who I want to be next to and be around."
The 37-year-old finally tied the knot with the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star after months of planning. However, not everyone congratulated the happy couple for the wedding, to which West responded, "I don't give a f--k about people's opinions."
"People would try to say, 'Well, you know, if you're a musician, you should be with a musician, and if you want to design, you need to be with a girl from the design world,'" the "Yeezus" rapper said of the backlash he received.
"When a kid falls in love with an airplane or a bike or a dinosaur … it's like, f--k, you mean to tell me that the dinosaurs walked the earth and stuff like that?! That's amazing! You mean to tell me that these giant multi-ton crafts can fly that fast and that loud, and they can flip and there's danger, the possibility of them exploding?" he continued, seemingly going off on a tangent before circling it back to Kardashian.
"You mean to tell me that this girl with this f--king body and this face is also into style, and she's a nice person, and she has her own money and is family-oriented?" West said. "That's just as cool as a f--king fighter jet or dinosaur! And just as rarely seen."
The West-Kardashian romance has apparently been a long time coming as therapper confessed that he's been touched by it for quite some time now, New York Daily News noted.
"I had to fight for that for seven years," he admitted.
West also explained to GQ why he took the time to talk about his and Kardashian's relationship and the mark they're leaving on this world during their wedding reception.
"(I discussed) the idea of celebrity and celebrities being treated like blacks were in the '60s, having no rights, and the fact that people can slander your name," he remarked.
"I had to say this in a position where I, from the art world, am marrying Kim," the "I Am a God" rapper added. "And how we're going to fight to raise the respect level for celebrities so that my daughter (North West) can live a more normal life. She didn't choose to be a celebrity. But she is. So I'm going to fight to make sure she has a better life."
West also credits his marriage with Kardashian for his improved life as well as advised everyone to adapt some "Kim K skills" like he did, US Weekly noted.
"I feel like you're stronger as a team," the rapper explained. "Because when you know you have a team player, it's not one on the world anymore. At least it's two on the world.
"What I had to learn from Kim is how to take more of her advice and less of other people's advice," West added.
"There's a lot of Kim K skills that were added. In order to win at life, you need some Kim K skills, period."
