According to the officials statement by Eagles’ Big Boss Keshi, Obiazor receives a chance to show the best of his performance in the upcoming match in Calabar:
“We have been monitoring the Nigerian league and we see that the keeper of El-Kanemi is a talent that is why we want to give him a trial. We will see how it turns out when he comes to camp.”
It would be recalled that only a week ago football fans got excited over the news that Vincent Enyeama, who had earlier state he would take a leave of duty from the Super Eagles. was called up by the Nigeria’s Football Federation (NFF) for AFCON qualifiers. Recognized as the best Nigerian goalkeeper, Vincent demonstrated brilliant performance during the 2014 World Cup and was highly ranked by the FIFA.
Mikel arrives
Regarding the rest of the team, the Eagles’ camp is bubbling ahead of the game against the Red Devils of Congo.
Finally John Mikel Obi arrived at the camp Tuesday afternoon, in quite a humorous manner, Sahara Reporters reveals. Obi made a joke related to the outbreak of the deadly Ebola Virus currently ravaging West Africa and Nigeria in particular. The footballer told Keshi as soon as he appeared in hand gloves:
“Coach I have up to four hand gloves and if you don’t mind, I can hand one pair to you.”
