The new Akwa Ibom Stadium will be officially opened on November 6, with a friendly match involving a home-based Super Eagles side.

Caretaker coach Shuaibu Amodu, plans to use the game as part of preparations for Nigeria’s remaining two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Congo and South Africa.
