Ronaldo Continues One-Year Scoring Run

Default
Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, has continued his goal-scoring run at the Bernabeu which dates back to over one year.
Ronaldo’s goal in the 5-1 over Rayo Vallecano means the Portuguese has now scored in 16 home league matches in succession.
His run dates back to over one year since he scored in a 2-0 win over Malaga on 19 October 2013. The last opponent he failed to score against at home was Atletico.
Overall, the 29-year-old has scored 18 goals in ten games this season, taking his average to 1.8 goals per game in La Liga.
In addition to his goal, Ronaldo also set up two for his teammates this weekend.
This means he was involved in 25 goals in the league (18 scored, 7 assisted), as many as Barcelona has scored as a team, while no other La Liga team has scored so many goals as a unit.
Overall, Real Madrid have scored 42 goals already, which gives them a strike rate of 3.8 goals per game.
Following the 5-1 against Rayo, Carlo Ancelotti’s side have racked up 13 consecutive wins in all competitions, which is their best ever run under the Italian.
They only need two more wins to equal the club record of 15 consecutive wins reached in 2011/12 under Jose Mourinho and set up by Miguel Munoz in 1960/61.
