'Ronaldo Will Last Longer Than Messi'

Real Madrid Legend, Paco Gento, believes Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is already amongst the best players in history and thinks that he will last much longer than Lionel Messi.

Gento, admitted that Messi and Ronaldo are both great players, but he thinks the Portugese is slightly better than his Argentine counterpart because he is physically stronger.

“He is already amongst the best ever,” Gento told As.

“He has many trophies and he is a great player, so is Messi.

“They are the two that lead the way for all the titles. I think Cristiano is strong and will last longer.”

The Spaniard agreed that Ronaldo will be lifting the Ballon d’Or title yet again but would prefer seeing him help the side retain the UEFA Champions trophy which they won last season.

“For sure, he is going to get everything he wants,” he added.

“For the club I prefer them to win the European Cups, but it is satisfying to win these individual titles because they are also for Madrid.”

Ronaldo is the favourite to retain his Ballon d’Or title which will be his third title after previously winning it once with his former club Manchester United before regaining it last year.
