Barcelona will look to bring Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho back to Spain if Joan Laporta wins the Catalan club's next presidential elections.
Laporta is believed to be considering taking on Josep Maria Bartomeu for control of Barca, after becoming dispirited at the direction of the club, Daily Express reported.
And, as has become customary in La Liga, where members vote on the presidency, Laporta is believed to be lining up a big name signing if he is delivered to power.
However, with a transfer embargo in place, reports in Spain suggest Laporta will instead promise to bring Mourinho in as coach.
But lining up Mourinho - who worked as Barca as a translator under Sir Bobby Robson and Louis van Gaal before moving into management - would give Laporta's campaign a massive boost.
