Late Muna Obiekwe’s step sister, Chinwe Obiekwe, has revealed the circumstances leading to the shielding of the actor’s predicament from the public. Speaking in a video by Inside Nollywood in a recent interview, Chinwe, who claimed his brother died after his blood pressure triggered the failure of the actor’s two kidneys, said: ‘Muna is a private person, that’s why no one knew us because of the low profile we kept, he wanted the news out of the media because he was a man. That is how a man should behave, my family was ready to arrange the operation for him without the help of anybody.’ She also ranted by hitting at the actor’s colleagues who have questioned Muna’s decision to keep the illness all to himself. ‘Those people that said assuming he had told them he was sick, they would have helped, how many of them came to support the family for the burial? He saw it coming, that’s why he never told anyone he was sick.’ Muna Obiekwe was pronounced dead due to complications arising from renal failure on Sunday, January 18, 2015 was buried on Tuesday, February 3, 2015....
