A Reddit user asked people who decided to wait to reveal what their first time was really like - and recollections ranged from 'incredible' to 'kinda awful'.
Many people confessed to being underwhelmed by their first experience of sex, but others said they had no regrets about waiting.
One poster said they were still a virgin but that they were getting married the following day, adding: 'I'll let you all know.'
