Dolphins star striker Emem Eduok has passed a medical at Esperance and he is now closer to signing a contract of three-and-half years at the top Tunisian club.
“Emem has passed his medical at Esperance and he will this week sign a contract for three-and-half years pending the approval of his Nigerian club,” a reliable source said.
Esperance had earlier indicated interest in the striker, who netted a record-equaling 20 goals last season amid various denials.
Dolphins General Manager is now expected in Tunis to finalise the transfer of the striker.
The left-footed Eduok is a hard working forward with pace and an eye for goals.
He has represented Nigeria at U-20 and ‘B’ international levels so far.
Several top Nigeria stars including Julius Aghahowa, Michael Eneramo, Garba Lawal and Obinna Nwaneri have featured for ‘The Blood and Gold’.
