General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Sanusi Muhammed has showered praises on the Super Eagles for beating the resilient Chad national team 2-0 in yesterday’s first qualifying match of the 2017 Africa Nations Cup decided at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
“We are happy that the team fought very hard to break the very resilient Chad national team. This is a good start and it will help the confidence of the players to continue to forge ahead in the qualifiers. The NFF will continue to provide the enabling environment for the growth of football in this country. We will continue to do everything humanly possible to ensure the national team takes its special place in not only African football but in the world too”, the energetic scribe of the NFF said.
He also disclosed to SportingLife that each member of the Super Eagles that beat Chad in yesterday’s game would be paid a winning bonus of $5000.
“Yes I can confirm to you that each member of the Super Eagles team that played against Chad yesterday is entitled to $5000”, he disclosed.
