The management of the African Independent Television have reportedly sacked all its staff at its zonal office in Benin city, Edo state today June 14th. According to The Nation, the management of the media company which is owned by Raymond Dokpesi, relieved the workers of their duty in a letter dated June 2nd and signed by the company's Senior Manager in charge of Human Resources, Victor Okasoga. The affected workers are being owed arrears of salaries of up to two years. Their dismissal according to the letter is with immediate effect. READ MORE

Man City’s Raheem Sterling had the chance to open the scoring in the 14th minute but he somehow put the ball over the bar from a low cross by Lallana.
