So here is the real gist
about what led to the fight between the Police and Navy.
A tri-cycle (Keke Napep)
rider who was carrying sachet water (pure Water) broke the traffic rules and
the Police officers stopped the culprit and beat him up mercilessly.
The navy saw this
inhuman beating and seeks to intervene on-behalf of the tri-cycle rider, but
instead of the Police stopping and reason with the officers, one of them
brought out a gun and shot the navy officer dead.
That is when hell let
loose and the Navy officers called for re-enforcement and the rest that happened
is now what we are reading.
So actually a navy
officer was first killed before the Navy re-group and strike the police with
all their arsenal which led to the burning down of the Police station and the
killing of some Police officers.
