The 17th edition of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Annual Holy-Ghost Congress has started at the redemption camp, kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
This year’s theme is tagged “The Great Shepherd”. The opening ceremony of the 6-day programme was attended by worshippers drawn from different christian denominations from within and outside the country.
In his opening remarks, the General Overseer Pastor E.A Adeboye told the congregation to thank God for His faithfulness and prayed that the Congress would be a life-changing experience that would usher in great miracles for them.
“It gives me great joy to see many of you on the first day of the 17th Holy Ghost Congress. I guarantee you that it would be a life-changing experience that will be full of great miracles,” Adeboye said.
The annual Holy Ghost Congress is scheduled to hold between December 8th and 13th, 2014.
