Super Eagles skipper, Vincent Enyeama was honoured with a special plaque as he made his 100th international appearance today.
The plaque was presented by Governor Godswill Akapabio of Akwa Ibom state at the Uyo International stadium. Sadly, Nigeria was beaten 1-0 by Uganda in the friendly match. He thanked Nigerians for their overwhelming support through the years.
"Thank you to Nigerians, all who's supported me all this years. Thank you for today." He said.
And on the loss, the Lille goalie admitted that "It is a great disappointment for me but that is part of life."
Enyeama becomes the second Nigerian player after Joseph Yobo to reach 100 caps for his country.
