Every Other Continent Is Laughing At Africans – Jidenna

A couple of African artistes, took to social media to complain about the recently conclude One Africa Music Fest in London for the really sad time management issue that saw some top acts not performing
According to Factory78, so many unprofessional stunts were pulled at the show to include singer, Tiwa Savage being cut off to make time available for other performances, and host Banky W, having to rush DMW boss, Davido through his set for the poor time management.
The time management was so bad the likes of Psquare and Flavour could and did not perform with the height of it being the venue managers cutting the power, signalling an end to the concert that started an hour and a half late. .
US based Nigerian singer Jidenna, obviously bitter about this took to Instagram to vent. He wrote:
“I was supposed to perform 2night but the show was cut off as I waited backstage. I’m disappointed. Regardless of whose to blame, to make this our time we must be on time,” he wrote. In another interview, he said the world is already laughing at Africa

Watch him talk about the festival below

@Jidenna " I'm still awaiting an apology from One Africa fest organisers " In this exclusive interview with Factory78, the Nigerian American singer diplomatically explains the basis for his trending "If we truly believe it is OUR time, as Africans, we need to be ON time" statement video following the recently held OneAfricaFest Concert (London). -------------------------------------------------------------- The event aimed to promote African unity through music and had an absolutely fantastic lineup of artists but was unfortunately plagued by major timing issues. As a result of opening acts performing very lengthy sets and an unequally distributed time allotment for headline acts, JIDENNA was ready backstage but wasn't allowed to perform as time had run out. -------------------------------------------------------------- Disappointed fans took to social media to vent their frustration yet sadly, as of May 15th, 2017 no formal apology or press statement has been issued by organisers.
