Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has won another laurel to her almost full cap The beautiful mother of three has won the Audience Choice Award at the Nollywood Week in Paris, France. The award has earned her the price of shooting her next movie with the highly coveted Angenieux lenses. The highly elated actress took to her Instagram page to celebrate her latest win on Wednesday, June 16, 2016.

Oboli’s movies did not win anything at the recently held Africa Movie Academy Award (AMAA). Meanwhile, talented comic actor, Bishop Ime popularly known as Okon Lagos recently begged Nollywood actresses Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo and Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha not to send his wife packing. The actresses were on a state to state cinema tour of Oboli’s movie Wives On Strike to Uyo where Okon Lagos is based. Due to the release of Omoni Oboli’s movie Wives On Strike, the Nollywood actress and her crew have embarked on a state to state cinema visit with the movie. The team on Tuesday, April 19, touched down the city of Uyo, leaving Bishop Ime threatened.
